Hard to believe it has been three full weeks already! Time is doing such weird things with us! This weekend I was very grateful for the numerous musicians doing live concerts - some of them daily. Music is such a huge part of our lives. It is amazing the connections it creates.
I myself have really enjoyed the Melissa Etheridge Concerts from her house. It is fun that she and her wife take it all in stride and get things set up each day, or on the fly. Sunday's have been dubbed Piano Day and yesterday was very good. She is going through a little history on the songs before she plays them. And she is doing 5 songs a day. Has been very interesting. You should follow her on Facebook if you are interested in getting alerts when they start each day. Plus, you can see the posted recording of them if you do that.
To my friend Kelly in Tampa - I tried the mini key-lime pies that you freeze this weekend. So those were great. From Kelly:
1 can of evaporated milk
1 can of sweetened condensed milk
8 oz of key lime juice from fresh or a bottle
Marias cookies from the mexican section or gluten free nilla wafers
Mix all ingredients. Spoon into silicone muffin pan.
(I used silicone Cupcake forms). Insert the cookies. Freeze.
Put in ziploc bag in freezer and enjoy whenever you want.
Super easy and tasty - liked them frozen - will like them more when it is hot outside. Thanks for sharing the recipe.
No more musings this morning. Off to my workday! Have a great Monday everyone!
