The great experiment is on. Many states including my own are opening back up to limited capacity business. Our governor believes because he declared it law owners will monitor and keep their occupancies to 25% and practice all of the guidelines in the book, available electronically to them on the state website. Some will. He also refused to declare masks in public places as mandatory. He "encourages" the citizens of our state to wear them. But he went a step further and made sure we all understood that it does not matter what our mayors say, (as any of them with sense have made it mandatory), it is NOT mandatory and no penalties can be enforced for breaking the local mandates. All of this at a time when Texas (and most of the other states opening up) do not have the Federal guidelines of 14 days of downward trending. Might be safe to say NONE of them have 14 days of downward trending.
The reality is that people in general do not agree that this is a good thing. Most will still be staying home as much as possible. Most will be practicing social distancing guidelines and wearing masks in public.
To my friends and family - I will be doing what I can to stay as safe as possible. I will be doing what I can to not endanger you or anyone that I come across. I know you will be doing the same.
Stay Safe People! Let's not be part of this great experiment if we can help it!
