I am on a much needed vacation. Came with friends to the southeastern part of Kentucky to a beautiful home owned by their friends on the shores of Lake Cumberland. As is my norm, I have been unable to sleep in and have gotten up each morning early. On this morning, day four of the mini vaca, it is raining. Again.
It rained yesterday as well... Which kept us off the boat on the lake. But this mornings rain is a little harder, and appears to be hanging on a little longer. So today will be filled with the activities we reserve for rainy days. I hope it brings things like time to just sit and enjoy the sound... Talking with friends old and new, playing games, eating great food, and just generally being joyously happy.
I have had my walk already... I may go curl up and go back to sleep!
