Weekend Countdown Day 27: 19th Day of Dallas County Shelter in Place

Over the Past 7 Years if you are friends with me on Facebook you have seen a fairly common occurrence.  Almost every trip has one or more posts of these words:
Live Sincerely

The picture above was one of the many messages that was left on a vacation with my friends Christy, Teresa, and Stacy to Kings Canyon.  We left this one behind a stone wall at the entrance to a cavern.  This tiny message packs a world of meaning for each of us.

As a daily reminder, I wear a ring with this simple message stamped on it.  What, you ask, are you reminding yourself of?  I am reminding myself of a pledge I took on March 31, 2014.

I was first introduced to the Live SIncerely Project by Cindy Graeff. On her own blog, as she posted on her journey with cancer, she had a link to this project.  She talked about it to her friends and to the world.  And she endeavored to Live Sincerely every day.  I think now more than ever, it is important to remind myself of the Pledge I took almost 6 years ago.  I have no need to explain the pledge - it explains itself - so here is the "pretty version".

Do you have a favorite card already?  Mine is the next to the last... "Knowing that life is an enduring and glorious struggle, I pledge to live each day with purpose."

I will live sincerely.

Have a great Saturday everybody!
